OK, so my daughter, right now, is on this red-riding hood kick. She thought up a game where she was red riding hood, her brothers got to be her brothers and I got to be the mean tickle-wolf and this was all combined with hide and seek. After counting to ten and immediately locating Madison, I picked her up to body slam her (because I am the "mean" tickle wolf) and she is laughing so hard that she passes gas. She stops laughing, turns to me and says very matter-of-factly, "Don't worry about that, mommy! That was just a noise from my butt." My son says, "If you do it really low, you don't even have to say excuse me."
I was speaking to one of my closest friends/cousins and he was telling me that he would like to see statistical data from people that other people listen to. And I agreed but I can't give you that so instead I will give you my own little statitics from some surveys that I conducted.
1. 1 out of 1 babies asked felt that Latasha Morgan's album was pretty cool, and that baby even bounced to the music.
2. 1 out of 1 little girls named Madison felt that the music was nice to listen to but wondered if I had anything reminiscent of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."
How is that for surveys and data and what not? I think that as I do more research it should be pretty unanimous, because I won't post any of the bad stuff unless it's funny. (That is my definition of unbiased)
One beautiful day, as my family was preparing to leave for a family reunion, my aunts gathered at my mother's house to practice songs they would sing at church. One aunt in particular, who was leading the rehearsal decided that she needed to lead a song and wanted her sisters to practice singing behind her. My son, Kaeleb, was sitting in the midst waiting to hear the music, excited no less. He fancies himself a four year old musician/performer. Mid-song, my son goes and stands in front of his great aunt and shakes his head in utter disapproval, and returned to his seat. My aunt did not notice any of this and continued to put her heart into the song until the very end. When the last note was sung, and my son realized it was the end, he stood up and emphatically told everyone, "That Is Not Music!!!!!!"
All I could say was chuckle chuckle and ha ha.
